Re-Sign Methods and Rules
Remember! It is your responsibility to re-sign the out-of-work book. You may "re-sign" the out-of-work book by any one of the following four methods:
- In Person - during regular business hours, 7:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday
- Letter- regular mail (United States Postal Service) date determined by postmark
- Via Fax - (630) 393-3531

You must re-sign the out-of-work book every sixty days on your anniversary date (every other month). Example: If your original sign date was February 10th your re-sign would be do April 10th.
Early re-signs will not be accepted.
Failure to re-sign on your sixty day anniversary date will result in having your name removed from the book. If your name is removed for failure to re-sign, you will be required to register again at the bottom of the out-of-work book.
If your sixty day anniversary date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday, you must re-sign no sooner than the last regular business day immediately before or no later than the first regular business day immediately following your sixty day re-sign date.
